Sandlea View is a mixed-use development comprising commercial units at ground
level with residential accommodation above.
TI Dynamic Facades were brought in to help recover the project after the originally
proposed system was unable to meet the project requirements. Using our Aerobrik
system with a TI-DF6 flat plate fixed to Eurobond Rainspan panels, we provided a
lightweight brick slip solution supported by testing to satisfy the client’s needs.
A key requirement of the project was to closely match the local brick aesthetic,
helping the new development sit naturally within its surrounding context. The façade
also includes several notable details, including soldier course features and curved
areas, demonstrating the flexibility of the Aerobrik system when used as part of a
coordinated façade solution.
By combining product knowledge, technical support and a practical route to
compliance, TI helped provide an alternative façade solution that allowed the project
to move forward with confidence.
