A standout facade project in Aylesbury, Lucas Furniture combines Aerolite Stonework, granite and Aerobrik to create a strong, high-quality external finish across the development. The scheme uses Aerolite Stonework and granite supported on the TI-DF2 kerf system and TI-DF4 undercut anchor system, alongside Aerobrik supported on the TI-DF5 cassette plate, giving the building a facade package that balances visual impact with technical performance.
With a project size of over 1560m², the development represents a substantial facade installation and showcases the use of multiple cladding materials and support systems working together across one scheme. The project team included Wilson Mason as architect, Caddick Construction Ltd as main contractor, and A2O Ltd as installation contractor.
The combination of lightweight stone, granite and brick-slip cladding helps give the project a clean, robust and contemporary appearance, while also allowing for a practical rainscreen solution suited to modern commercial applications. The use of different facade systems across the building highlights the flexibility of the specification and the coordinated approach taken to deliver both the design intent and the technical requirements of the project.
