Kings Stable Road, Edinburgh

A substantial mixed-use facade project in Edinburgh, Kings Stable Road features Total Stone supported on the HPL system. The specification creates a robust, high-quality external finish across a prominent city-centre development, delivering the durability, visual consistency and low-maintenance performance expected from a modern rainscreen facade solution.

With a project size of 1650m²+, the scheme represents a significant facade installation across a development incorporating hotel, residential and student accommodation elements. The project was delivered with Bowmer & Kirkland Ltd as main contractor and Keyclad Ltd as installation contractor, helping bring together the scale, coordination and installation expertise needed for a complex mixed-use scheme.

A key feature of the project is the use of Total Stone on the HPL system to provide a clean, contemporary facade finish suited to a large-scale urban development in a sensitive city-centre setting. Combined with a fully engineered support system, the facade package helps achieve efficient installation, reliable long-term performance and a cohesive architectural appearance across the wider scheme.
