A major residential facade project in Salford, Bridgewater Wharf features Aerobrik supported on the TI-DF6 flat plate system. The specification creates a strong and contemporary brick-finish rainscreen facade across a large-scale urban development, combining visual impact with the practical performance needed for a high-density residential scheme.
With a project size of 14,800m², the scheme represents a substantial facade installation and highlights the use of Aerobrik across an eight-storey development comprising 376 residential apartments, including studios, one, two and three-bedroom apartments, as well as townhouses. The facade package uses three different finishes, helping give the development a varied and well-considered external appearance across the wider scheme.
The project was delivered with M3 Build Ltd as main contractor and UKR Facades Ltd as installation contractor, with the earlier project announcement also noting collaboration with HS Roofclad, Purcell and Beaumont Morgan. Overall, the facade solution reflects a large-scale, coordinated approach that combines architectural character, installation efficiency and long-term durability in one cohesive residential envelope.
